Last SOA Challenge Post

This was the last card I made for the Stampin' Out Alzhiemer's Event. This was a Two by Two Card Challenge sponsored by Taylored Expressions. The requirements included using two colors: pink and brown (and neutral color of choice) and only two embellishments: I chose ribbon and a heart brad. And for the layout of the card I used Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #70.

When I saw the challenge colors were pink and brown, I knew I wouldn't have any trouble finding some patterned paper (that is my favorite color combo!) This is an older paper from Doodlebug, the flowers and butterflies are just too fun. For the images I used a cupcake stamp by Endless Creations. I colored it with copic markers and added stickles to the outline of the heart. I also added piercing around the edge, and tied the pink ribbon from Joann Fabrics around the bottom. Then I adhered it to the classic scallop rectangle nestabilities. For the sentiment, this is a stamp by Hero Arts. I stamped it in Gingerbread ink by Versamagic and punched it out with a 7/8 inch circle punch. Then I punched out a brown circle using a 1 inch circle punch. And the scallop is a 1 1/4 inch scallop punch by ek success. In the center I added a glittery heart brad.

That's all for now! Thanks for stopping by!
