Dino-mite Birthday

Supplies: Stamps: Whipper Snapper Paper: Basic Grey archaic, early espresso, crumb cake, xpress it white  Ink: Memento: rich cocoa, early espresso, crumb cake  Accessories: copic markers, cuttlebug funky circles, pinking sheers
My nephew turns 7 on Halloween, and as he gets older it gets harder to make a card for him.  I hope he is "in" to dinosaurs.  A couple of details about the card...I wanted to duplicate the rough circles on the patterened paper, so I cut out a circle from my Cuttlebug funky circles to make the frame.  And I stamped a dinosaur skull under the sentiment.  I stamped off on a piece of paper before stamping it.

That's all for now!  Have a great day!!

Happy Birthday!

Supplies: Paper: SU brights cardstock, white, and black glitter paper  Accessories: Quickutz candle die cut and Sizzix Happy Birthday die cut
What a fun CAS sketch over at SCS, and I was able to use some of my die cuts!  I cut strips of paper for the candles, and then used the flame of the Quickutz die cut.  To add some sparkle I used a black glitter paper for the sentiment.  Thanks for looking!

Happy Halloween Cupcake Style

Supplies: Stamps: teeny tiny wishes, build a cupcake Paper: black, white, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pie designer series paper Ink: Memento: tuxedo black and tangelo  Accessories: Cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder, Martha Stewart spiderweb border punch and bat punch, 3/8 inch white grosgrain ribbon, black ribbon?, SU scallop rectangle die cut
It was a super busy week at school so I didn't get any stamping time in, so I was anxious to get some stamps inked up this weekend.  Dawn was the featured stamper this week, I really like her style and had a hard time choosing just one card.  I decided on this one, and I decided to turn it into a Halloween card.  I also noticed that the CAS challenge was to use cupcakes!  How perfect.  I kept the layout the same, I added a border punch and ribbon to the focal strip, and I added embossing to the base.   This was a fun card to make!  I made two more Halloween cards that I will be sharing this week as well.  Have a super week!

You Color My World

Supplies: Stamps: Verve and Imaginence Paper: kraft and red  Ink: Memento tuxedo black Accessories: white dmc floss, copic markers, liquid applique, needle, crystal effects

Well friends, I'm not sure where my mojo went but I have lost it.  I tried to make a card today, but all I have on my desk are cut up pieces of paper....  So I searched through my pictures and found this card that I hadn't posted.  I colored the rainbow with copic markers and added crystal effects to brighten up the colors, and added dimension to the cloud with liquid applique.  I remember looking at my DMC floss, and trying to match up the colors.  I was ready to head to Joann when I remembered I used copic markers to color my rainbow....so I used copic markers to color my white DMC floss to match the card.

I hope you all have a fantastic week, and I will continue to search for my mojo and hopefully be back soon with a new creation! :)

Boo!

Supplies: Stamps: Whipper Snapper Paper: black cardstock, pattern paper?  Ink: Memento tuxedo black  Accessories: Martha Stewart Halloween doily, Marvy tag punch, cropodile, copic markers, May Arts ribbon, black twine, pop dots, corner chomper
I couldn't resist the CAS sketch challenge this week on SCS.  I had purchased these Martha Halloween doilies and that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the sketch.  For the stamped image I colored some accents with copic markers, and I stamped the Boo a second time, cut it out, and popped it up to add some dimension.  For the tag, I punched out two of the Marvy tags and adhered them together.  I placed my focal image over the seam.

That's all for now! Have a super week!
